Stella was not feeling well, so we didn't go. The remaining 7 embarked the DOURO AZUL boat at Vila Nova de Gaia. They had breakfast shortly after getting onboard. During this cruise the boat passed by 3 locks: Barragem de Crestuma (14 meters), Barragen do Carrapatelo (35 meters) - Lunch as the arrived at Lamego - and Barragem de Bagauste (27 meters). The boat then proceeded to Pinhão where they had a Port wine tasting .... before going to the Pinhão railroad station to return to Porto. We stayed at the hotel until 1 PM. Stella was feeling better ... so we enjoyed the rest of the day sightseeing. |
