This was an excellent place to stay in Ponta Delgada.  SOLMAR Avenida Center

These appartments are actually inside the Solmar Avenida Center where there are stores, offices, restaurants, etc.  The following pictures were taken as we were ready to check-out ... with only three things left to do before heading to the airport: visit   "Senhor Santo Cristo", the office where Avô Leite used to work and the house where I was born on Rua da Boa Nova 33.

Three generations of Sousas I was born in this house in 1945.

Benjamim lost his first tooth on the flight home.
